BOOKING CONDITIONS CONTRACT The contract will be between the client and The Garden Barn. The contract will be entered into when The Garden Barn receives deposit or full payment and will be subject to all the booking conditions. Please read carefully. PAYMENT A deposit of 30% of the rental fee is payable if made more than 6 weeks before the start of the rental. The balance shall be payable 6 weeks before the commencement of the rental. For bookings made less than 6 weeks before the commencement of the rental the total fee is payable. Cheques made payable to ‘The Garden Barn’. CANCELLATION Any cancellation made by the Client for what ever reason shall be in writing and addressed to The Garden Barn at the address supplied. On receipt of cancellation we will try to re-let the Studio for the period of the booking. If successful in re-letting the property for the whole period it shall refund all monies paid per booking. If it only re-lets for part of the period of the booking, it shall refund monies equal to the re-let period. We strongly advise holiday insurance cover. PERIOD OF HIRE Rental commences unless otherwise agreed with owner from 3pm on the day of arrival and leave by 10.30 am on the day of departure. USE OF PROPERTY The number of persons occupying the property must not exceed the maximum number stipulated in the advertised details. COMPLAINTS Should there be cause for complaint during occupation of the property don’t hesitate to notify the owner as soon as possible. BREAKAGES OR DAMAGES The owner would appreciate you take care of the property. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damage caused to the property or contents during the period of rental. Please report these as soon as they occur. Charges are not normally made for minor breakages or damage, but The Garden Barn may need to send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant. PETS Dogs only by prior arrangment, supplement of £10 applies (one dog per studio only - thank you) LIABILITY We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment. Should the property the Client has booked, for any reason become unavailable The Garden Barn will reimburse all monies paid.
